The Role of Leaders in Learning Organizations
The best performing teams all are basically living these different ways and these different frameworks. I kind of see the role that kind of coat, I call it the coach CEO that creates an environment that uses the sort of best knowledge from high performing environments to adapt it for teams of teams. And culture is very mimetic. It's contagious. It's like a virus, if sort of another word of the moment. But actually you can affect quite significant culture change with an organization, one team at a time. The other thing I think is worth looking at is the concept of mission command, which is a military concept. There's an author called Bungay worth Googling.
