C.S Lewis' Forgiveness

C.S. Lewis talks about forgiveness in his book The Abolition of Man. He says we have to draw a distinction between excusing and forgiving someone who has done something inexcusable. Mayor Christian: In forgiving someone who is doing something that's evil you are not condoning the evil. You are almost making a judgement about the person rather than the act.
