There's a few people involved in a creation redemption process. Usually it's what we refer to as a market maker think of those as the big trading firms the citadels. Most ETFs hold their gold in vaults in london There is one that holds it in switzerland and there are different ways you do it. But some people like the true bugs are like I don't trust anyone to hold any kind of physical gold.
