The Timelessist of the Coen Movie

For me it's just the Coen's ability to create a story that exists outside of like fads and signifiers. There's no gadget or thing in this movie that is like oh wow you know that's Motorola razors so this took place in whatever. The way the movie was shot was deliberately sort of sandbagging a little bit. Los Angeles is changing now we can see it with our own eyes but man you still drive down certain streets.
