Putin's Threat to End the War in 1945
"I was really worried during the siege of Morapul because the battalion hidden inside the industrial facility hardened, lots of conventional bombing couldn't get them out. We're a great military target for a tactical nuclear weapon," he says. "We did end the war in 1945 with the deliberate killing and destruction of two cities, but the Japanese couldn't strike back." He adds that Putin's threat to set a precedent like Hiroshima and Nagasaki is frightening.
