In the electrician phase of my career being exposed to crystalline silica dust, which is a carcinogenic gets concrete dust. It's when you're grinding on a job site and you're breathing that in. The problem is it quickly disperses in the air and becomes invisible. And so for me it was this light bulb moment: This invisible environmental contaminant can potentially harm human health.
