In chapter one we get to cognitive illusions which are about the extent to which our prior knowledge affects what we see or in other words as Popper would say observations are theory laid so I'll skip most of that but just to say that if we're writing a book on rationality why you would skip critical rationalism? We don't live in a world where things happen probabilistically, says Professor Pinker.
