The Importance of Condemnation in the Christian Life
At the end of chapter seven, Paul says there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. And that's a perfect segue into chapter eight, because it focuses so much on setting our minds on the things of the Spirit and things like that. But before we get to that, I love chapter eight, verse one: "I'm wretched, but is there any hope to be delivered from this fleshly battle?" We need to make sure we distinguish between condemnation and conviction in the Christian life.
