The Importance of Happiness

According to Jesus, happiness is not a set of circumstances. It's the fruit of a right relationship with God. According to Jesus' happiness is only a response to the gospel. When I go to my death, whether my death comes through persecution or whether it comes through just getting old and dying, I want to know that I can go into that last hour whenever it is with the sense that I am right with God.
