What I Learned About German Sexuality
Sexual experience was regarded as something valuable. But for girls, it was not. There were strong condemnations of homosexuality. For any kind of sexual contact, girls were blamed. The girls would be regarded as having incited the sexual action. They were to blame. It was very much victim blaming for girls, but not for boys. And we had this until quite recently in our world too. I don't think these values have changed very much. Oh, indeed, right?
