The message of the New Testament and Jesus teaching is so upside down from the world's values. I'm a fan for understanding culture and sort of fitting into a certain extent, like being a normal person in the culture that we live in. But at the same time, our natural tendency is going to want to just not be counter-cultural,. And that's something that personally I need to watch and check my own ways of thinking.
