The brain is not fixed into a particular there's some localization, clearly. One domain is actually in the domain of face recognition. You constantly learn new faces throughout your life span. And we know that these can modulate brain responses. For example, if i show a subject the same picture over and over again, i get a decreased brain response because the first picture was new.
