In the early 11 hundreds, there were many small schools and kind of informal academies forming with young men gathering to study. There was a problem where a lot of these young students were from far away. So in some of these towns with large concentrations of scholars, the students formed formalized nation groups. And it mainly came about because of the special needs of stu particularly their needs for safety and independence.
