The Importance of Helen in Jim's Marriage

Jim's wife Helen was an art student they met at the Edinburgh College of Art and Jim describes being up in the gallery and seeing this girl of like you know 18 or 19 walking below. They had a very very long marriage two daughters she must have been immensely long suffering because he was difficult, his own grandson said he could be an absolute barnacle. He seems to have been pretty tortured and miserable at times over it I was rather wrecked about writing about it because I I signed the deal that year it was 2018 when the national trust got in trouble for outing the last squire of Felbrook Hall who had never been out in his life  I did feel a bit apprehensive about painting
