How to Reward a Black Belt
The toughest conversations are when you are brown, the midway into that brown and the thoughts are start coming up above the black belt. My academy is fairly new, fairly young in its existence, but we've had those conversations on every single level. And I believe that as much as instructor is willing and ready to reward that belt, it is extremely important that a student is able and willing to receive it. The million dollar question is should we expect the same thing from a 25 year old as we are expecting from 55 years old? That's the million dollar question in Jiu Jitsu.
