Open Models Win in Artificial Intelligence

I really believe that open will always be closed. Why? Because we are humans, our complex adaptive systems. And if you spend some time studying complex adaptive systems, you know that all emergence, i.e. cool new stuff, comes from the bottom, not the top. So I think that I certainly lack the arrogance to believe that Jim O'Shaughnessy is going to know every use case which might come out of the stable diffusion model. It's what we saw after we released stable diffusion in August was a, again, a tsunami of innovation.
