The recency effect is one of the biggest pioties i think investors should be aware of. We tend to think that whatever's happened recently is more likely to happen again. The same thing plays to the downside, in that how you mentioned earlier, how the max capitulation happens at the bottom. There's no correlation between what happens on tuesday and what happens on wednesday.
