Heat Pumps - Is There a Mass Adoption?
In places like Wisconsin, it gets quite cold in the winter. So heat pumps become harder and part of the year you end up having to basically grind up electricity to make heat the old fashioned way. The real benefit is in places where it doesn't get thatcold in the winter, like Toronto as an example. But even if we were to buy a heat pump for every joule of electricity put into it, it's still going to cost me quite a few hundred bucks each time.
