Higher Education - Why Do We Always Go a Bridge Too Far?

In our attempts to make a more persuasive case for a university experience, I think we did instead a fair number of wise things. But why do we always go beyond it and say to the masses in a super cookie cutter way? We all have what's called the negativity bias. So no matter how good the upside is, the negative is at a minimum, like three times more powerful.
