2023 Medicare Advantage Plan Year: Record Enrollment

Medicare Advantage saw record enrollment for the 2023 plan year and pushed penetration past 46%, according to a recent analysis from healthcare consultancy group, Chardis. There are now 29.5 million individuals enrolled in MA plans. Of this year's growth, 86% was attributed to for-profit plans with UnitedHealth accounting for 55% of the market growth.
