Lexio Devina, a Slow Reading of Scripture in a Pandemic

The practice of lexio devina iste the slow reading of scripture. It's ideal when some one's doing this practice that we take a short passage of scripture so that we can really chew on it and turn it over and allow god to speak to us. The second movement is a meditatio, or just meditating on it. D it is in that space where we are now trying to locate the particular word or phrase that's resonating. Know, what is god saying to me? How do these words call out to me? I'm chewing on those words at that point.
