The 49ers' Defense Takes a Step Back

Trey Lance is still out at an age and still has the potential where he could turn his career around fully. If that's not going to be the setup for the 49ers in vision this year, I would use them as a running back. It'll be interesting. What do you think about the defense? They're just losing depth. At a certain point that takes a toll. We've seen it with every great defense throughout the history of the NFL. But I wouldn't be surprised if this defense really takes a step back this year.
