Motivation in Education
In the beginning of this podcast, five plus about five and a half years ago, talking about motivation. I was trying to understand motivation because my view was if I could just motivate students to study, they would do better. And it turns out that that's another thing, which is culturally bound because it doesn't seem to apply for Asian Americans. So there's a lot of stuff about motivation, which is just backward and upside down. We'll see more elaboration of this as I go through talking about this book.
