Oscar Islander's Portrait of a Boy
This is an early studio photograph from approximately 1860. The remarkable thing about this, this is a boy and he's looking at us. This was not then repurposed. It didn't get used later in the work with Bernardo or anything. Tell us who made it and why. Yeah, I mean, it is very engaging because he is looking out at the view. But why was it made? Do you know why the photograph was taken? So this is some of the early work of Oscar Islander.
