How Do You Make It Happen in a Novel?

Free love is a book that, as you sink into it and grow into its rhythms, will be entirely shaken up. It was almost miraculous getting the story for this novel. I'm not sure i could have written the book right if i hadn't known that from the start. In other words, the book is pleading the humanity of its characters. That's one of the things that the sixties pleaded about its countercultural humans. We are human. We are trying to live a life that's more meaningful to our humane perceptions. And that's what this book attempts to do.
