You Goed From Brussels Sprouts to the Dessert
The first 30 fie chapters of isaiah are primarily prophecies with a little bit of restoration and hope thrown in. The last 27 chapters, starting with chapter forty, are really prophecies of redemption and the greatness of god. Chapter 40 is probably a wonderful introduction to this whole final theme. In fact, i sometimes call it the introduction to the greatness of God as it tells us about who god is and what his attributes are.
