The Effective Altruism Movement

When I was a teenager in Australia, I encountered his ideas about how we might have pretty substantial moral obligations to help other people. And of course, I also found it back as views on animal rights and animal welfare and stopped eating meat around the same time. So all of these different threads, utilitarian philosophy, evidence-based health, charity evaluation, sort of coalesced into the effective altruism movement.
