How to Treat ADHD and OCD
Treatment for ADHD focuses on executive functioning skill training. Not everyone with ADHD takes medication or has to, but it really depends on whether they can kind of connect to the skills and the treatment. With OCD, when OCD is in the picture, sometimes a stimulant medication might make the OCD worse for some people. It's not true that popular belief is that it will make it worse for everyone with OCD.
