Is There a Constraint That a Song Can Only Be on One Album?

The concept that it can only a thing a digital thing can only be a one folder at a time is very outdated. And there again there are some aspects of it, for example, think about music. A song is in an album, let's say. Obviously it came out of constraints, but then you have artists like Adele and so on who were thinking all the time when they created this. The whole album is a piece of work that is supposed to be listened to in the right order.
