So that the metabolic adaptation side of the coin often focuses on more physique related dieting. And youre looking at aspects or ramifications of that that relate to energy expenditure. Low energy is sensed in the hypothalamus due to low body fat, due to insufficient energy intake relative to energy expenditure and so then we see things like reductions in thyroid hormon reductions ina energy expenditure, reductions in sex hormones. This can lead to unfavorable side effects such as impaired bone health, impaired reproductive health, a low libida, alterations in a variety of different hormones.
