Confession of Faith - The Westminster Confident

I've grown to really love the statement that you've just read. It's very succinct but there are a lot of very important words in here and this paragraph does differ substantially from the Westminster Confident. You know it's interesting. Twice I've had prominent Presbyterians tell me that they like the way our confession of faith is phrased at this point because of its redemptive historical emphasis. The gospel was present even in the days of Adam. So too was the covenant of grace present. This covenant is revealed in the gospel. It's present in the form of promise.
