Theogenous appears as a sophisticated and rundown grand feudal lord or younger with feudal passions, loved in his own epoch. He is full of mortal hatred against and aspiring people, tossed about by a sad fate that grinded him down and made him milder in many ways. There's a double entendre to talk about him with a contorted Janus head, because Nietzsche talks about how he became outwardly milder inMany ways. And yet the hatred he nursed within him became more and more intense.
