The Tax Rules for Employees
The tax rules are not set up for employees. So if you just stick for your current employment and just solely invoice to them, you may run into some trouble in the employer might be like, hey, we're not comfortable doing that. However, if I'm in business, then a lot of my expenses are the in claimable. You can't do shit when you're on a PAYE salary. It's quite effective. And as inflation sticks around, as taxes go up and stuff, more people incentivise them to be like, maybe I should do some contracting or maybe I should claim some borderline expenses.
