Is It a Technical Nightmare?

A lot of the pieces that we play were written for string instruments, and they jum round notes in a way that you don't necessarily do on the keyboard. translating it on to a different instrument is quite a challenge. But yes, i guess because of my classical background, i cand have already had the some of the chops. It was just, what was hard was translating that to also to an instrument that isn't velocity sensitive.
