Is Virtue Just Personality Traits?
The way we think about virtues, which I think aligns well with philosophy's view, is that these are not actually traits in the way we typically think about personality traits. And instead they come in a different level of personality. So by being at the level of characteristic adaptations, it's more something that's changeable and can be developed. It's less biologically bound or not bound, but less determined by genetic predisposition and more something that can be cultivated.
