Eisenhower's War on the Industrial Military Complex
Eisenhower was not really happy about the idea to have a large force station in Europe. He didn't like conventional wars and large conventional militaries. Eisenhower had a lot of headage particularly with the French, but so with the UK, he started, he didn't really have this very happy relationship with them.
