The Reaction to Partying in Number 10
The Prime Minister has been accused of throwing a bougie party in Downing Street last Christmas. A picture always tells a thousand words, and photos emerged showing largely young people at their desks with copious amounts of booze on the table. It's hard to imagine anything more toxic than the idea that people party at the heart of government when across the UK there was so much suffering. For many the fact that the prime minister was seen in some of these photos, was adding salt to the wounds. I hope it kneels into the wall, I really do. There were so many people who couldn't be with relatives or friends when they died, and stay for wheeling and totally loads of booze
