Solar PV - What's the Learning Curve?
Solar PV has gone through four or six phases, depending on how you count them. The first stage was scientific developments that led to the device we have today. Germany built a market and China made it cheap; other players like Japan also played a role. And then the fifth phase is China responding to Germany and entrepreneurs in China developing new plants. It's really kind of a relay race passing among multiple countries.
