The fox sisters were part of an early wave of medians popping up in the mid 18 hundreds. Theyd hosts seances and claimed they could facilitate communication with their relatives through a series of knocks on the table. A lot of spiritualism you see to day can be traced back to the fox family, but their legacy of fraud and chicanery has been conveniently left out of most of the stories.
