The King James Version of the Bible
Until I started researching this episode, I really had very little idea of what the King James version actually was. A lot of people today think that the King James was the first English edition and many of them think that it's the inspired edition. What ended up happening is that a lot of the hierarchy in England didn't like the fact that the Bible was available in English.
