The Importance of a Contributor Growth Strategy
Why is it important to have a contributor growth strategy, or even backing up further, why do we need people other than the, you know, maintainers to be contributing code? Right now, we're in a situation where there are loads of open source projects, and frankly, just not enough contributors for all of them. We think the project should always be thinking about how they can grow their next wave of maintainers, and that starts with getting contributors.
