VO2 Lactate Testing

The response, VO2 lactate nears, is constantly chasing the increasing workload. So we're never seeing a steady state. I think when we're looking at muscle metabolic activity, I think we're interested in that steady state. And so just like lactate testing, where you need at least a three minute or a five minute or longer stage in which lactate kind of reaches a steady baseline, for the same reason, we want to look at that with nears. We've been using that for training zone prescription and description of intensity domains. It all kinds of works, but it's basically a five minute work interval, one minute rest.
