There's all these different flow charts and diagrams out there about when to take iron. For me, the one time of day that I could take iron would be like at 1.30 PM. There's some fascinating science on hepsidin which prevents iron absorption. And what we found in practice is based on the athlete numbers we see, there must be complicating factors with individual responses to hepsidins.
