What Influenced You?
I've been influenced by a lot of work. And strangely, i think the most influential things tend to be things outside my field. One of my favorite papers called novelly search, with local competition, that kind of fliped something on his head a little bit. Was deeply inspired by reading richard dawkins is either the selfish gene or the extended phoenotype. There's also a quote in our book from think sal spigelman about cells invented man to reproduce even on the moon.
