In fixed income, there is one thing I can say from experience. It's when there are 1000 reasons not to invest because you think the world's about to end. They always turn out to be in hindsight the absolute right moment. Anybody who had the courage to do the right thing and invest was looking at really decent double-digit returns for at least the next three to five years. That's what history tells us. But it will come with volatility and it is obviously not predictable.
