I've Been Working in a Studio for 15 Years, and I'm Having a Hard Time Getting Around That

I run into drummers who are very protective and very conservative. I don't want to alter anything, because that's my sound,. i've been doing it like this for 15 years. And so i'm afforded a lot more leeway than i think. It's the same golden rule of never ever em address things in negative terms. That there's something wrong with the way they have things set up. As soon as you do that, the defences go upand people are not going to want to change things. So it's always inviting a positive change to try as an experiment - which is the path to success every time.
