The Importance of LDH in Renal Infarcts

LDH is one of those things we should think about. Twenty nine percent of the time you will find no cause. But this guy is now on an oral anticoaglant probably for life. You know, he felt better in a couple of days after he completed the infarct. His LDH came down and he went home anticoaglated and ideally prevented something else. He'll probably one day in his life have a run of a fib. It just wasn't caught, right? Great. You saved a stroke there, buddy. Good work.
