Dio's Speech From Buddica

Buddica shows an awful lot of knowledge about global geer politics and the inner workings of the imperial government. So very well spoken, very well educated. She's not alone in this. The historiographical ganra for the greeks and the romans is very much about giving great speeches. And definitely dio is kind of showing off his rhetorical ability here in the speech that he gives buddica. But if you give someone a speech that is rhetorically able like this, then you don't do that for just anybody.
