How Does Green Energy Fit Into Energy and Dependency?
Electricity is not traded in world markets. You can't ship it across the ocean. Solar and wind output cannot, cannot be varied. It's either on or off. That makes going to full renewable of solar and wind extraordinarily difficult. And right now, given ar technological constraints, only natural gas and coal fire generation units that supply goes up during the day and down at night.
