The Identity Crisis in Babylon
In the Bible, Nebuchadnezzar wants to erase memory of their Hebrew gods and give them a brand new identity in this Babylonian city. We live in a society that's becoming more like Babylon than it is the Bible. Moms and dads, we need to give our kids a sense of identity so they know who they are based on whose they are. Listen, I'm created by God. Which means I'm created to be a child of God, which means my identity is defined by God.
